Fire Fighter Show Description

The Fire Fighter Training Show plays off every childs curiosity to one day become a "Fire Fighter."

The show allows volunteers from the audience, usually kids but we can use adults, to become our fire fighter trainees(audience participation show). After being fitted in fire jacket and helmet the new trainees are introduced to the audience as their next generation of heroes and the volunteer fire fighters are divided into two teams.

When the alarm tones sound calling engine one to duty it's all trainees on deck.  Each fire fighter trainee/team gets to complete the basic tasks at our simulated fire scene: laying out fire hose, attaching it to the fire truck and putting on a nozzle. Using a real fire extinguisher to squirt water at simulated flames in our smoke rescue building in hopes they can knock the flames out of the window and enter the smoke filled building to make a heroic style rescue.(we use an odorless, non-toxic, white smoke; smoke dissipates in about 1 to 3 minutes) The dialog between our fire chief the audience and the new trainees is riddled  with humor and educational information. In between fire alarms the fire chief introduces important fire safety lessons "Don't Hide,Get Outside" and "Crawl Low, Under Smoke".  What comes off as entertaining and fun today may save a life in the future. Throughout the show the audience is encouraged to cheer on our new trainees, as the shows activities become a friendly competition between our volunteer fire fighters.  The winner or team that wins our competition is our 1st place team and as a reward they get to climb tower one and aim its water cannon at which ever part of the audience they feel wasn't cheering them on during the earlier events. The show ends with our fire tower water cannon shot.                               (fun paper streamers shot high into the air over an audience expecting they're about to get 3000 gallons per minute wet)

Nobody is left out of our show. After tower ones suprising water cannon shot the audience is invited to stay and all the kids can practice "crawl low, under smoke" through our smoke-rescue facility, touch and feel real fire fighting equipment or have a photo taken dressed as a fire fighter, looking just like the fire fighters in the show. All post show activites are free except for photo of kids dressed as a fire fighter taken with our camera and kids size fire helmets or other fire fighter related toys we may offer for sale.

Our extensive set of props and stage effects include: professional costumes, up beat music, alarm sound effects, flashing lights, smoke rescue building, fire extinguishers, fire hose & nozzles, fire hydrant, fire hose fountain, fire tower, streamer launcher and the kids size fire truck. All kid size and kid friendly equipment that produce big size fun.

Each show lasts approximately 20-30 minutes and involves 4 audience members, usually kids. Post show we operate the smoke-rescue facility letting all the kids practice "crawl low, under smoke" and offer good fire house hospitality for an additional 5-15 minutes.

We have uniforms for age 2 through adult so anyone could become our next fire fighter trainee.
