 Biography:

Neal Snyder has been educating and entertaining at Fairs and Festivals since 1994 with his company Alligator Adventures. Neal really enjoys putting smiles on youngsters faces with his alligators but he wanted to create a new show, an audience participation show that would not require him to travel with live animals which require daily care 365 days per year.

In 2005 Neal conveyed his wish to create a new show to his brother a 20+ year fire fighter, my brother was telling me about how much kids want to be the fire fighters at his departments demonstrations and how playing on or with the departments gear can be unsafe for children as their equipment is big and industrial size.  Even the fire trucks are large and very high off the ground for children to get in and look around them.

My eyes opened as an idea for a new show came to be and together Neal and his fire fighter brother came up with the events Snyder uses in the show.The idea was to use real fire fighting gear as much as possible and still make the show set child friendly and safe and let kids from our audience be the fire fighters in our demonstrations. It took nearly one year to purchase fire fighting equipment and to build the show set which includes professionally made costumes, flashing lights, smoke, a kids size fire truck, smoke rescue building, fire tower w/water canon and the fire hose fountain.

In the fall of 2006 I promoted the show for the first time at the IAFE trade show in Las Vegas, Ohio Fair Managers Association trade show and the Indiana Association of Fairs trade show and by early 2007 the show has been contracted to perform over 150 shows. (all but one event in 07 re-hired the show for 2008)

The 2008 schedule has seen the number of events double and will take the show to Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, and Georgia before returning to the home state of Florida where the show can be seen at the Volusia County Fair,Deland FL, Indian River County Firefighters Fair, Vero Beach FL, Putnam County Fair, Palatka FL, Lake County Fair, Eustis FL and the Central Florida Fair, Orlando FL this 2008 winter/spring season.

The concept of the show has received great interest by many events and I look forward to many successful years performing the fire fighter show.

The young audience members becoming the fire fighters in each show, "a little education and a whole lot of fun", make the fire fighter training show a hit where ever the show performs.
